How Can I Call a Number Using the Texting App?

Placing a call with the Texting App is easy! Here’s how you can initiate calls based on different scenarios:

Using the Dial Pad:

1. Open the app and go to the Dial Pad screen.

2. Enter the number you wish to call or tap the Contacts icon at the bottom left to select a saved contact.

3. If it's your first call, a verification screen will appear. Enter your personal mobile number to receive a unique OTP for account security. Complete the verification process to proceed.

4. Once verified, tap the Call button to initiate the call.

From the Recents Screen:

1. Tap the Recent icon located at the bottom of the screen.

2. Scroll through your recent call history and find the number you wish to call.

3. Tap on the number, and the call will be connected.

From the Message Screen:

1. Tap the Inbox icon at the bottom of the screen.

2. Open the conversation thread with the person you want to call.

3. Tap the Call icon at the top right corner of the screen to start the call.

• Alternatively, you can swipe left to the person you want to call, tap "More," and find "Call."

• Or open the message thread of the person you want to call, tap on the Name or Number, and a User Profile screen appears. From there, tap the Call icon.
