The Texting App provides a robust blocking feature to help you manage communication effectively. You can block specific phone numbers to eliminate unwanted or harassing calls and texts.

Here's how to block a contact:

Method 1: Blocking Directly from Call History

  1. Open the Texting App and tap the "Recents" icon at the bottom.

  2. Find the unwanted contact or number in your call history.

  3. Swipe left on the contact.

  4. Tap "Block."

  5. Alternatively, tap on the specific contact to open their profile screen, where you can select "Block this Number".

Method 2: Blocking Directly from the Inbox

  1. Open the Texting App and tap the "Inbox" icon at the bottom.

  2. Locate the unwanted contact or number in your list.

  3. Swipe left on the contact or number.

  4. Tap "Block."

Method 3: Using the Settings Menu

  1. Open the Texting App.

  2. Tap the "Settings" icon at the top left corner.

  3. Select "Blocked Numbers."

  4. Tap "Add New Number."

  5. Choose the country code and enter the phone number you want to block. Alternatively, tap the "Contacts" icon to select a contact from your list.

  6. Tap "Add."

Additional Information:

  • Blocked callers cannot reach you via calls or messages.

  • You can unblock a number anytime by swiping left and tapping "Unblock" in the "Blocked Numbers" list.

  • You can block both individuals and unknown numbers.

  • Blocking a number in Texting App won’t affect your phone’s main contact list or prevent them from reaching other phone numbers you use.

  • If you still receive calls or texts from a blocked number, contact Texting App support for further assistance.
