Personalize Your Texting App Ringtone!
Want to distinguish your Texting App calls from your regular phone number? You can easily set a unique ringtone within the app! Here's how:
Open the Texting App.
Navigate to the app's "Settings" icon (often a gear icon) in the top left corner, accessible from the Inbox, Dial, Recent, and My Number screens.
Look for the "Change Ringtone" option in the Calling category.
Browse the selection of ringtones and tap your favourite. Then tap "Save" at the top right corner.
The new ringtone will automatically be applied to your incoming Texting App calls. In rare cases, if it doesn’t change, just restart the Texting App, and you're good to go!
Tips:
Preview ringtones before selecting to find the perfect fit.
Consider choosing a ringtone that's distinct from your device's default ringtone for clear differentiation.
Remember, you can always change your ringtone later if you prefer something different.
