Here's how to archive a chats in Texting App:
Open the Texting App.
Go to the Inbox tab at the bottom of the screen to view your message history.
Swipe left on the conversation you want to archive.
Tap the "Archive" option.
To view your archived chats, go to the "Archived Chats" section located at the top of your message list.
Important Tips:
Archived chats are still stored within the app, and you can unarchive them at any time.
To access "Archived Chats", you may need to use Face/Touch ID for security. Read this article for more info on “How do I view my archive chats in the Texting App?”
Archiving a chat only removes it from your main message list; the recipient can still see the conversation.
To restore a chat to the main message list, swipe left on the chat and tap "Unarchive".
